Boko Haram: Custom seizes military gears at Kano Airport

The Nigeria Custom service, Kano/Jigawa Command, has seized some military gears smuggled into the state through Mallam Aminu Kano Airport.

The state command comptroller, Umar Abbas, told a gathering of stakeholders that the military gears include, military Camouflage Uniforms and boots.

Mr. Umar said the seizure is very significant considering the state of insecurity situation in the country.

A few months ago, an aircraft loaded with heavy weapons was also apprehended in Kano.
