2015 Presidency: Tambuwal Has Our Support – Dep House Spokesman The deputy spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Honourable Victor Ogene (APGA, Anambra), has declared that if the Speaker, Honourable Aminu Tambuwal, decides to run for the Presidency in 2015, the House would help him achieve his dream. Ogene, at the weekend, while fielding questions from newsmen, maintained that Tambuwal had the qualities to gun for the highest office in the land going by his track record in handling affairs of the seventh session of the House which he has presided over in the last two years. While confirming the presidential ambition of the speaker, Ogene, however, refused to disclose the platform Tambuwal is working on to achieve his ambition. It would be recalled that reports were rife Tambuwal could contest the 2015 presidential elections on the platform of the proposed opposition mega party – All Progressives Congress (APC). “As it stands today, Tambuwal has displayed good leadership in the House of Representatives. It is only left for Nigerians to determine who will lead them in 2015. Though he has not told us about this, but leadership is done by the people. “Tambuwal is not a PDP speaker, he is the speaker of the House of Representatives. He can relate with any party in the best interest of Nigerians,” he said.
