Siasia joins Bayelsa Governorship Race


Expectedly, Samson Siasia, Nigeria's Dream team coach remain the Football coach to Nigeria's under 23 team popularly known as the Dream Team. He is of course not the one we are are referring to here but a young Bayelsan 35yrs old Millionaire, Moses Siloko Siasia, who recently joined the race to unseat Governor Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the next Bayelsa Governor on a yet to disclosed political platform

Just at 35, Mose Siloko is the Chairman of Mosilo Group, a multi-billion naira business empire, with investments in engineering, real estate, oil and gas, agro processing and project management. He promised to be accountable to the people of the state, if elected as Governor, Daily Post reported.

He made this pledge during his meeting with young stakeholders in the state at Yenagoa, the state capital.

According to him, "Leadership without accountability equals total failure. In my business, I am accountable to my clients and my employees. In my personal life I am accountable to my family and my friends.

"As Governor, I will be accountable to the citizens of Bayelsa. I make no excuses. I am fully responsible for all that happens under my leadership. My Administration will be transparent, my team will be empowered, and the people of Bayelsa will have a leader who listens and respectful".

"The world is changing all around us. We must employ new ways and means of adjusting to today's delicate and ever changing economy," he said.

Siasia urged the youths to support him in his bid to usher in a new era of accountability for the people of Bayelsa, assuring them that he will revive the economy of the state and provide opportunities for all.

"Bayelsa's economy today is stagnant, and leadership is non-existent. Join me in doing away with the corrupt, self-serving ways of the past.

"Lets usher in a new era of accountability for the people of Bayelsa. It's time for a better life for the people of Bayelsa," he added.
