Hi - we think you'll be interested in this!
Geeklist #hack4good 0.6 against climate change is uniting 3,000+ of the world's top software engineers, product designers and technology innovators to come together and build innovative tech solutions against climate change challenges.
It's the biggest global hack ever against climate change and taking place in 47 cities (including Abuja) in parallel this 12-14 September (just ahead of the UN Climate Summit in NY).
Focused on innovative solutions to solve real-world problems, we'll be responding to 15 global climate change challenges set by organisations including the United Nations, Fauna & Flora International, 350.org, WeForest, King Tides Project, Save the Children, WWF, Lead International, the World Resources Institute and dozens more non-profits and government partners in cities in every time zone of the world!
The hackathon will run over 48 hours and you can participate in the Abuja event. You can come as a team or join one on Friday 12th - the aim is to collaborate on building innovative technology-driven projects that make a real-world impact on 15 climate change challenges.

How does #hack4good work?
Teams respond to problem statements and challenges set by NGOs, government organizations and subject matter experts, collaborating intensively over a 48-hour period. The result is 100s of prototype projects that demonstrate innovative technology solutions to have a positive impact for humanity.
In each location, a judging panel made up of technology leaders and subject matter experts will select the most promising teams in terms of their potential impact. These go forwards into global judging.
The teams selected by the global judging panel will present their projects as part of Climate Week NYC alongside the UN Climate Summit in New York in September.
The Abuja event will be held at
Connected Development Bazzan Plaza, 2nd Floor, F Wing,
Plot 759, Behind TOTAL House, Central Business District,
Abuja, FCT
Nigeria
And is proudly sponsored by Connected Development, Devnovate as Local Challenge Partners and Enspire Incubation
