Worried by the incessant killings and maiming of lives of innocent Nigerians by the Boko Haram sect, a group of former Niger-Delta militants under the Edo State Phase Three Ex-militant Group, has said that the sponsors of the terrorist group will soon be exposed.
The leader of the group, "General" Godstime Ogidigba, lamented that the activities of the insurgents has continued due to the alleged financial backing and support of "some northern fundamentalists" who were determined to plunge the country into a full scare war.
Ogidigba, while calling on the sect to immediately stop the "senseless killings or be prepared to meet their waterloo", however, noted that "those behind the sect will soon be exposed".
The former militants also called on Nigerians to support the efforts of President Goodluck Jonathan in fighting terrorism.
"All Nigerians must stand by the President and the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at a time like this when we are waging war against terrorism and all hands must be on deck because this is a war that must be won against the Boko Haram.
"We must all come together and show commitment to the security challenges confronting us a nation. "It is time we must stop playing politics with security matters because this government is committed to the security of the nation".
